The Chvatal Kritzer Duo released their long-awaited second CD, entitled " In The Blue Hour" featuring the Duo with the Radio Symphony Orchestra of Munich. Included on the recording are such classic operatic favorites as Carmen's "Habanera", Puccini's
"O Mio Babbino Caro", and Offenbach’s "Barcarolle Duet".
The Duo's critically-acclaimed debut CD "Songs of the Americas", featuring the exotic arrangements of music of North and South America, is also available on Miramont Records.
Chvatal/Kritzer Duo performs with RiverDance...
The Chvatal/Kritzer Duo's most recent European performance with the Cirque du Soleil and the stars of the Tony award-winning musical, Riverdance, was enthusiastically received by an audience of 8,000 in the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany.
In a second guest appearance, the Duo performed on the Rhein River, in the Rheingold Halle in Mainz, Germany for an audience of 3,500. The evening celebrated Gutenburg, the "Man of the Millenium", and featured the Duo, along with stars from the award-winning musical.
The Duo will be performing a series of concerts in Autumn, 2005, including a special appearance at the Guitar Foundation of America National Conference in Oberlin, Ohio.
New, previously unpublished arrangements for voice and guitar will be premiered and available for the first time to the public at this conference!
